A series of interesting Web 2.0 events are coming up in September and October.
The biggest of course is O'Reilly's
Web 2.0 Conference in San Francisco from October 5th to October 7th. It'll be hard to find a bigger Web 2.0 event this year and I'm sure we'll see lots of interesting coverage come out of this.
Web 2.0 will also be getting play at other conferences as well. One particularly notable event is the upcoming
User Interface 10 conference in Cambridge, MA on October 10th through 13th. Definitely take a look at Jared M. Spool's intriguing and well-written Web 2.0 writeup for the conference here at
Web 2.0: The Power Behind The Hype.
Finally, there are online Web 2.0 events too, as is fitting Web 2.0's emphasis on participation.
Technosight is holding an inaugural blog-based symposium about Web 2.0 online from September 28th to Friday, September 30th. It's titled
Communicating The Ideas Behind Web 2.0 and is open to anyone with a blog. I'll probably participate, hope you see you there.
If anyone knows of other events and conferences, please post a comment here and I'll make sure they get coverage.
